From my seat by the window, I can look out across the water at the two floating lotus that Eshi Otawara created for Night Flower. What a gorgeous view to log in to each day, right?

Saiyge Lotus is doing most of the heavy lifting as we redesign the sim – the woman is amazing when it comes to sim design, terraforming and landscaping, and I’m not exaggerating even a little bit! Have you visited Oubliette? If not, you need to! And while you’re there, visit her store, Balderdash, where she turns tiny prims into works of wearable art…among other things.

So, even though I can do little more than move some pixel furniture back and forth while I bounce around watching Saiyge work her magic, I’m keeping my look comfortable. I paired a long sweater with some leggings and simple shoes.  To ramp up the warmth factor, I snuggled into some fingerless gloves and legwarmers to complete the look.

Now, I’m heading back to the sim to rummage my inventory for more furniture.  Feel free to drop in for a visit!

The Rebel, Rebel collection from 5th & Oxford features two t-shirts and a halter, each in five colors and a denim mini with prim skirt and sculpted belt in four colors.  There is also a coordinating home furnishings collection with wall and floor textures, two record mobiles and a sofa in two colors.  As usual, Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot haven’t left a single detail to chance in creating these items.  One of my New Year’s resolutions is to rebuild my home on Night Flower and you can be sure that I will find a place for all of these pieces!

You know what tonight is, right? It’s the Thursday Night Dance Party at Rouge! Presided over by DJ extraordinnaire, Nexeus Fatale.  But tonight has a little twist.  It’s my RL birthday week so I’ve turned the TNDP into my Birthday Party!

Butterflies seem to be my new obsession and I’ve gone a bit overboard with the butterfly-themed accessories in my party attire.

It all started with Canimal’s Skellyflies, then came the KaWaii butterfly necklace and ring from Fishy Strawberry, Ryker Beck’s gorgeous Monarch tattoos and, well, at that point, choosing the outfit was almost secondary.  I was just trying to find something to match all of the fluttering wings floating about!  Oh!  And check the shoes from Kookie.  They were only 50L and a perfect compliment to DeLa’s Leona dress.

Rosie Barthelmess has been a very good friend for quite some time and not too terribly long ago she launched her own jewelry line, Sable Rose.  Tiny Dancer is the latest release from Sable Rose and is a delicate web of interlocking circles.  When I tried it on, I loved the way it complimented the outfit I was wearing, so I knew I had to take a few pictures to share.  Rosie makes some beautiful and interesting pieces, each new release demonstrates how her talent and aptitude for jewelry making is growing by leaps and bounds.  Often, her pieces are infused with a personal touch and are inspired by her close and eclectic circle of friends.  I do hope you will take a few moments to stop in Rosie’s boutique, I know you will find something (or several somethings) that will suit you as perfectly as Tiny Dancer suits me.
