Today’s look is a mix of old and new pieces from some of my favorite tried-and-true designers. I wanted to put together something casual and very “me.” I love this new cardigan from Artilleri so much I had to have the fatpack, and while I was there, I cleaned out the entire display of glasses. I love mixing Antie’s retro style into my everyday wardrobe. The bracelets and necklace are new from alaMood. Jori has gone crazy this weekend, introducing a whopping 20 new pieces to the grid. I’m also wearing my favorite Bandara ring from alaMood, in a pink shade to pick up the glossy pink lips of Babyhoney Bailey’s new skin, MUA by Djinn & Tonic. For the rest of the look, I added caLLie cLine’s giant Black Rock ring, a 50L Friday find, a must-have tank from MichaMi, my favorite jeans from Zaara, a great belt from Linc, and ankle boots from J’s. As usual, the hair is from Truth and my eyes are Exodi.

caLLie cLine is ready for the holidays and her Winter Magic build on the Stereo Vogue sim is proof.
Codie and I explored the sim, and all of its glittery goodness, over the weekend and it really is gorgeous. What’s more, it is filled with snowy plants, trees, gems, candy canes and stockings that you can purchase to decorate your own winter wonderland. Pieces are as low as L$25 each and are infused with Callie’s usual whimsical style.
My favorite items, so far, are the Happy Head Antlers. They are available in three styles, each with color change gemstones. I particularly love the style I am wearing here as it is all decked out with candy canes and stockings. You can find all three at the caLLie cLine mainstore, as well as at Winter Magic.
Be sure to visit Winter Magic and catch some holiday spirit of your own!
I remember my first Christmas in Second Life, I was still trying to get the hang of the whole mix and match thing (some might say I still am). I was inspired by the shopper mashups that caLLie cLine was creating and selling as complete outfits. I’m pretty sure I bought them all. Well, she’s at it again, this time, though, she’s not mixing up pieces and parts of existing designs, rather she’s mixing some all new pieces, including her yet-to-be-released tank top. So I thought I would show it to you exactly as it is delivered – shoes, jewelry, the whole bit – and then mash it up some more.
The Passion Splash in Purple with Gemstone Accents includes a flirty little skirt with a funky paisley waist, matching scarf, a great little tank, cute flats, a bracelet and earrings…all in shades of purple with a few accents of pink, blue and green. Because its been a bit rainy in RL lately, I decided to show off StoRin’s new P15 umbrella and poses. There are ten poses in the pack and the umbrella, scripted with texture change, is available in both open and closed versions. I love Annah Whitfield’s poses and I’ve been looking for an opportunity to share this set with you. So, thanks to Mother Nature for the inspiration.
Now for my funky little mash of the mash… Read the rest of this entry »
Okay, so the the old joke is actually: What’s black and white and read all over? (a newspaper…yucka yucka yucka). And when I started putting this outfit together, I had on some red accents to go with the black and white. (Get it? Read. Red.) Then Java sent me a little pink dress and my mind started to flicker. Once I headed upstairs to my little hideaway on Rouge (the only place on Codie’s sim you are likely to ever find anything pink), I was further inspired to make some changes.
I’d been trying on random goodies from Dice Beattie all night, and I love the versatility of his tintable Boobless One-Piece. He’s currently designing like a man possessed, rebuilding his store and planning to release all kinds of newness in mid-April. I paired the one-piece with a blouse and cropped pants from COCO, tights from Fleur, socks from Maitreya, and a belt from caLLie cLine. I chose a whimsical, romantic hairstyle from Clawtooth by Clawtooth, mostly because I really liked the flower and finally, I added my current obsession, the Boho Chic Mules from Pretties by JB.
