Jori Watler has always been a great friend to Codie and I. She is, simply, family. So, when she offered to create an exclusive Rouge version of her gorgeous “Dream” Ensemble, we were over-the-moon excited, but not at all surprised by her generosity.

The “Dream” Rouge Ensemble includes necklace, rings, cuffs – and as an added incentive – the matching earrings.  The only place this set is available is at the Rouge Boutique and 50% of the proceeds benefit the Rouge Tiers fund.

caLLie cLine is ready for the holidays and her Winter Magic build on the Stereo Vogue sim is proof.

Codie and I explored the sim, and all of its glittery goodness, over the weekend and it really is gorgeous.  What’s more, it is filled with snowy plants, trees, gems, candy canes and stockings that you can purchase to decorate your own winter wonderland.  Pieces are as low as L$25 each and are infused with Callie’s usual whimsical style.

My favorite items, so far, are the Happy Head Antlers.  They are available in three styles, each with color change gemstones. I particularly love the style I am wearing here as it is all decked out with candy canes and stockings.  You can find all three at the caLLie cLine mainstore, as well as at Winter Magic.

You won’t find any self-respecting ranch hand or roper in caLLie cLine’s new Kick Shicker boots…and that’s just fine! These bejeweled stompers were made for the runway not the rodeo ring.  Or, in my case, the Peep Show box from Shadow things…a little burlesque, anyone?

Available in the original black suede with a colorful trim around the sole or in the Wild pattern with its animal print, each pair is outfitted with a ring of color-changing gemstones for customizing your look.  These are fun to wear dressed down with jeans or, ahem, lingerie, or dressed up with a skirt for a more avant garde look.  I wore my first pair for several days with Iris Seale’s Glam Rock Dress from Punch Drunk.

Today was a shopping day for me and katat0nik was first on my list of “must-see” stores.  I fell in love with the Fruit Bra and Panties the instant I walked in and immediately picked up blueberry and watermelon.  Then I headed over to Festivale, the new sim by Dove Swanson (Long Awkward Pose) and Autumn Hykova (Pixel Dust).  It is really a treat!  Lots of neat shops and, of course, Dove’s poses and Autumn’s hair take center stage.  Its a great place to explore and I highly suggest you try the Human Cannonball!  The poses I used are from the new My Shoe, Your A#% Pose Set by Long Awkward pose.

Tuesday night I had some time to myself so I decided to hatch a drakelet or two and work on organizing my out of control inventory. It has reached situation critical and drastic measures must be taken.

Why drakelet hatching? I love the thrill of hunting for new hatching locations and the little drakes are just so cute! But most importantly, Drakelets take about 45 minutes to hatch, and during that time you have to stay in one spot…waiting. So, that is 45 minutes that I can set aside to work on my inventory without distraction. Also, building is allowed in most of the Grendel’s Children areas, so opening boxes is not an issue. But, I digress…

I’m going on a diet. That’s right. Until my inventory has been returned to a manageable state, I will be cutting out the fat (read: deleting those items I know I’ll never actually wear or need) and only consuming new releases that I just can’t live without. I actually thought about not allowing myself to make ANY purchases until I was down to a manageable weight (read: item count), but then the “what ifs” took over. What if ETD puts out a new release of hair or shoes? What if Tres Jolie releases a new dress that I have to have? What if Muse introduces a new line of jewelry? No. I had to leave myself an out to take advantage of these possibilities.

For the time being though, I’ll be posting about items that I find in my inventory that I had completely forgotten about be they clothes or objects or landmarks. I hope you will enjoy all of the treasures that I have buried so deeply.
