Stephanie is the latest skin from Exodi. Ryker Beck sent out her third and final pre-release gift skin to her group today called Hot Date. The entire line will be released on Valentine’s Day, so stay tuned.
I’m wearing Stephanie in the Panacek skin tone and the new Melissa Hair from Truth in Champagne. The frame is provided by FilterCam, of course, so there is no post-processing, just a quick crop. Happy Tuesday!
What a relaxing evening. Stretched out in a comfy chair, relaxing and daydreaming while Codie names her new turtles.
I really love the new Brooke skins from 5th & Oxford. Roslin and CJ have, once again, paid remarkable attention to the even the smallest details and Roslin’s experience as a makeup artist really comes through in this line. Here, I’m wearing the Kitty makeup, Number 4, in the Medium tone. I will have to show you more of the body at a later date…perhaps we’ll feature some lingerie since Valentine’s day will be here soon!
Also wearing, the Ebba Jeans and Fearne top from MichaMi, the new Joanna hair from Truth and my comfy petankos from Zero Number. I’m lounging on the Model Chair by Glitterati. Oh, and both photos were taken with the FilterCam HUD by MechanizedLife…just shoot and crop and tada! Instant framed photo!
If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I’m building a super highway. When 2010 began, I resolved to keep a more consistent blogging schedule and complete the 365 Day Challenge. I’ve failed miserably at both. The only thing to do, at this point, is pick up and try again, right? Okay, here we go!
Milla Michinaga moved her MichaMi mainstore to the Glitter sim a couple of weeks ago, and with the move, released some new separates. The Pia is a pair of cut-out leggings, and Maisie features a sweater and leggings with a subtle, tone-on-tone pattern that can be worn casually or dressed up, together or separate. Both Pia and Maisie are available in a range of colors.
I’ve been wearing this particular look for almost a week now and I loved it so much, I had to use the image to update my Plurk page. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: The thing I love best about MichaMi’s clothes is how well they mix and match into my entire wardrobe. Milla creates everything on all possible layers, so it is a snap to mash her styles with just about anything! Or wear them all on their own. Milla has impeccable taste, and her talent and style really shine through with each new design.
Now go! Rush over and buy everything she’s ever made. You won’t regret it!

I really did take this photo last night, I promise. Time, though, is a cruel mistress and before I had time to blog, the clock struck twelve and I collapsed with a thud on my keybord. Trust me on this one, QWERTYface is not a good look. But, I digress.
Oh! And look for Day 7 on my Flickr photostream!

…all of my troubles melted away.
Sophia Harlow has thrown down the gauntlet. No, we will not be drawing guns at high noon…I’ll still be drawing little hearts around her face at that hour. Rather, she has challenged all SL bloggers to take a walk down memory lane and post photos of how our avatars have changed over time.
A looooong time ago, when I was actually able to keep my inventory halfway organized, I used to make folders for individual looks. Each folder included shapes, skin, eyes, AO’s, shoes…the whole nine yards. I reached into my now-rarely used Complete Outfits folder and came out with the look on the left, circa November 2007. And on the right is Gabby circa 20 minutes ago.
Now, it’s your turn to take a trip in the time machine. How have YOU changed?
From my seat by the window, I can look out across the water at the two floating lotus that Eshi Otawara created for Night Flower. What a gorgeous view to log in to each day, right?
Saiyge Lotus is doing most of the heavy lifting as we redesign the sim – the woman is amazing when it comes to sim design, terraforming and landscaping, and I’m not exaggerating even a little bit! Have you visited Oubliette? If not, you need to! And while you’re there, visit her store, Balderdash, where she turns tiny prims into works of wearable art…among other things.
So, even though I can do little more than move some pixel furniture back and forth while I bounce around watching Saiyge work her magic, I’m keeping my look comfortable. I paired a long sweater with some leggings and simple shoes. To ramp up the warmth factor, I snuggled into some fingerless gloves and legwarmers to complete the look.
Now, I’m heading back to the sim to rummage my inventory for more furniture. Feel free to drop in for a visit!

Happy Sunday and welcome to Day 2 of my contribution to the 365 Day Project. On today’s in-world agenda: landscaping, decorating and pestering Saiyge Lotus to help!
Since reading Ana Lutetia’s interview of Barnesworth Anubis, I’ve been stalking his store waiting for him to release the new pre-fabs geared toward creators that he described. I’m not a creator, but my partner is, and that translates to many, many hours spent on a sky platform bouncing ideas around and watching her work. After reading the interview, I became obsessed with the idea of creating a comfortable space for us to work, entertain and relax. Finally, after stalking his store for weeks, I sent a message to Barnesworth asking if he still had plans to release the new pre-fabs. He sent me the LM to the Pacific home and I knew it would be perfect. And, it is. But, now I have this huge, empty house to decorate and half a sim to landscape. So, I’ll be spending the next few days with my dear friend Saiyge as she works her magic on Night Flower…again!
I can’t wait to show you the transformation!
I have been following Alicia Chenaux’s blog for some time now, and recently made the comment to her that I wished I had started the 365 day project. The goal of the project is to take a picture of your avatar everyday for 365 days. She was on day 40-something at the time, I think, and suggested that I start! I hemmed and hawed around and eventually decided not to jump on the bandwagon so late in the ride.
This morning, though, I woke up and decided that, since one of my resolutions for 2010 is to blog more frequently, I’d give it a go. So…This is me, the day after the day after Alicia, and then Dan, DJ’d the most amazing New Years Eve party I’ve ever attended in SL (so amazing, in fact, I slept through most of the day after!)
You can find photos from the party on Ali’s blog. And, as for this 365 thing, only time will tell how well I can keep up. But I’m going to give it a try!
Happy 2010!
