Okay, so I totally procrastinated on Day Three’s topic, because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to say. But, in the spirit of the challenge, I’ll give it a shot.
Day 3 Topic – How hard do you think it is to find a relationship in SL? If you have an SL relationship, have you met in the physical world? Would you meet them? Do you think it would change your SL relationship if you met?
I can’t really speak to how hard it is or isn’t to find a relationship in SL. It seems like there are those who do not “do” relationships at all and others who seem to have a new one every other week. As for me, I wasn’t looking for a relationship when I twittered my way into Codie’s life, and she into mine, more than two years ago. It just sort of happened. I’m certain neither of us expected that we would be together this long, nor that I would be spending my vacations with her in Canada. Our relationship has changed some since meeting in RL, but only for the better, more than anything, our meeting has just added a new and deeper dimension to what was already there.
Moving on…
Today’s Topic: Is your avatar more or less your current biological age? Do you portray a younger avatar, or older? Why is this?
My biological age is thirty*cough*something*cough* and judging by appearance alone, my avatar is probably in her twenties. Looks aside, Gabby is an extension of me. I don’t portray her, verbally or emotionally, any differently that I am in RL. I don’t have many walls and it has been proven time and time again that my brain-to-mouth filter has a BP-size leak. So, pretty much, Gabby in SL and Gabby in RL are one and the same. Now, if I could only have her body.
