By now you I’m certain you’ve all heard that ETD has reopened with 2 brand new hairstyles and 2 new versions of previous styles. I’ve been changing them often and I have to say, I really love Elika’s new textures. It seems like braids and skinny headbands/wraps are one of the spring trends on the grid and Elika’s Chel is a beautifully executed example of that.

So, what else is new? Jori Watler of Pretties by JB has released a gorgeous pair of Short Stack boots, available in a wide range of colors. With the slouchy upper and the rounded toe, these are great for wearing with your favorite pair of jeans or a cute tunic for that slightly bohemian look. Speaking of boho, Jori has also just released some fantastic Boho Chic Mules, so run over there and pick up the entire Piggeh Pack of suede and leather, and the boots…how can you possibly pass them up?!? The top I’m wearing is part of a new release from Journey called Frills. My friend Java invited me to meet the designer, Journey McLaglin, last week and as I understand it, she has a new release every Wednesday and there’s usually some sort of free gift involved. I’ve already marked my calendar to investigate that further this week. (By the way, the skirt on this dress is really cute, I promise to blog it properly soon, I was just in the mood for jeans today.)
Torrid Midnight, TorridWear, released a new themed pose set this weekend, aptly named Cornered. I’ve played around with it here using the example prop she includes with the full pose pack, but I am staking out locations to try the poses on their own. Finally, Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot of Fleur, these two have been painting my pixels for as long as I can remember, released the new Spring line to their Shoujo skin collection. I’m wearing Spring 3 in the Azalea skin tone. The pale lips, soft blush on the cheeks and smokey eyes with a hint of green shadow make this a perfect skin for pairing with the delicate tones of spring clothes, or for playing off darker shades.

Vixie, by Kesseret Steeplechase of Kess Kreations, is my favorite of the pieces I picked up during the Armoire Jewelry Showcase. The chocolate pearls with the ring and toggle closure seems to be permanently attached to my neck. Dress it up. Dress it down. Pearls are timeless, classic and go with everything!
To complete the look I mixed in a few old(er) items. These classic indigo jeans from Zaara are quickly becoming my favorites. I found the waist sash in a package of belts from Pixel Dolls, and the Cameo jacket belt worked perfectly to cover my otherwise exposed midriff. I also added snakeskin bangles from Genesis and the super nova manicure from Nevermore Studios.
That’s all for now, slurls are in the body of the post, so I think I’ll skip the style sheet this time. Happy Shopping!

You look super in Chel and Shoujo
Love it Gabby! Thank you. Frills is out in pastel colors tomorrow!
Gabby, thank you! I am flattered you love Vixie so much, it’s one of my favs as well. And I agree about Jori’s ankle boots. I heart them! (sorry this is so late- I found this while googlehunting search terms)
