The Letter of the Day is B

…Make that the letter of the month!

B is for Busy! You would think that once the chaos and excitement of the holidays was over, I’d be able to relax, right? Wrong! Just after Christmas, I spent a week in Montreal with Codie, came home to start a new job (which I love, by the way, it is such a great challenge and an incredible opportunity), and for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working almost non-stop in SL to help Codie get the website for MechanizedLife up and running.  So most of my time has been spent just as in this picture, standing on my bed, in my sphere high above Rouge, writing notecards, formatting website pages, and responding to IMs.

At least a couple of times a week, a random thought will hit me and I’ll be inspired to blog.  I’ll hurry home, change clothes, head to the studio, and promptly find myself sidetracked by a conversation, project, task…you name it.  And, each time, the blog takes a back seat.

I finally found some time today to go shopping, and in fact, I’m out shopping tonight also.  I have a folder chock full of to-be-blogged ideas and, now that MechanizedLife is just about ready to officially open, I’ll be back from my blogging break very soon! Stay tuned!

Oh, and I’m wearing the spoils of this morning’s shopping trip: Dress and Earrings from Kittie’s Lair, Hair by Lamb, and my new skin is Fleur Allure Exotique (which happens to be 50% off right now).  Silly me, I can’t forget my glasses, Dexter by Form…I love the nerdy scratched lenses.
