MichaMi Mix & Match

I was cleaning my inventory and came across folder upon folder of outfits from MichaMi by Milla Michinaga that were just hanging out there, not properly sorted.  I realize that’s not hard to believe given the embarrassingly shoddy state of my inventory at this moment, but I really do try to keep the staples that I wear most often at least somewhat organized.  And since I wear something from MichaMi almost everyday, I was shocked that they weren’t put away properly.  But, I digress.

While I painstakingly went through each outfit, I put together this look which is really representative of something I would wear in RL for shopping or even, heaven forbid, work.

I started with the wine-colored jacked from the Stella outfit.  Milla’s latest release, it is, by far, one of my very favorite pieces.  I can dress it up or down depending on my mood, and I put it on so often, I fear wearing virtual holes through it.  Next came the cropped linen pants from the Pippa outfit, worn with the belt layer.  I didn’t feel the outfit was complete, though, with just those two pieces so I added in the GlamTank in Dark Gray. The best part about MichaMi designs?  All of the clothing options come on all layers, so mixing and matching is a breeze!  If you haven’t yet (which begs the question, why not?), fly to MichaMi Square immediately for some wardrobe staples and classic designs that no inventory, even the most unorganized, should be without.

Toss in some boots from Redgrave, my favorite ring from Flirt, a locket from Genesis, a great bag from Pixel Mode and the look is almost perfect.  All I needed were earrings and for that I turned to my dear friend Saiyge Lotus of Balderdash Bagatelle and Trinketry.  I met Saiyge through Plurk and she helped to completely transform our little island into a lush retreat fashioned after a Japanese tea garden.  And as fantastic as she is at landscaping, she is even more inventive and talented when it comes to jewelry and other trinkets.  At her store on the newly rebuilt Oubliette Sim (which is gorgeous, and a great place for wandering around and taking pictures), you will find intricately detailed and interesting jewelry, Christmas trees, Christmas wreaths, Celestia Celestio Memorial Candles and Globe Candles, furniture, build-your-own snowman kits and so much more!
