Clinging to Color

As the weather turns colder in my corner of the globe, I find my RL self unpacking boxes of cozy sweaters and scarves, thickly woven skirts and tights, and trading my usually vibrant summer wardrobe for the more subdued hues of winter.

But in SL, I’m not quite ready to give up on color.  Oh, sure, I’ve given in to the scarf and pashmina craze sweeping the feeds (seriously, who can resist the yumminess that Zaara, Creamshop and Cubic Effect have created for us).  But, for the time being, I’m going to cling to the last vestiges of colorful, body-conscious designs while I still can.  So here’s a quick Look Of The Day post to brighten things up a bit.

I’ve always loved the way royal purple and vibrant greens compliment each other, especially when they are broken up by the more neutral and casual tones of denim.  So, I dug through my inventory and pieced together some of my favorite items from G.L.A.M., threw on some shoes from Shiny Things, and then went hunting around Armidi for just the right bracelets to bridge the gap.

Style Notes:
Pants & Bustier: G.L.A.M. Dark Denim Jumpsuit (part of outfit)
Halter & Scarf: G.L.A.M. Halter Minidress in Pourpe (part of outfit)
Shoes: Shiny Things Belles in Acid
Bracelets: Armidi Gisaci Towanda Quintet Bangles – Green
Hair: Maitreya Eva II in Chocolate
Skin: Fleur Vivant Bronze 3 Sultry
