Shoe Fair Finds Day 2 – Periquita

I love shoes from Periquita, they always have a touch of whimsy. And what is Shoe Fair if not a chance to buy whimsical footwear for a good cause, right?

The Silly Wedges take the simple wedge that is so on-trend for this season and curves the heel, carves it out and fills it with beads. And, like all shoes from Periquita, they are ridiculously well priced and have a color change HUD. You can change both the texture (lots of colors, both striped and solids) and the bead color…or you can take the beads out altogether. The possibilities are endless!

Shoe Fair Finds Day 1 – Pixel Mode

Until the 2010 Shoe Fair started, you would have been hard-pressed to get me out of my Baby T’s by Pixel Mode. Now, though, I have a new favorite in Jori. I love a strappy stiletto and Tya gets this one just right.

The skin texture is very well done, the foot and the shoe is shaped nicely, and the HUD is very easy to use, so getting a good skin-to-prim match is a snap. I love the shading around the ankle and the detail on the straps. There is a separate HUD for changing the metal color on the shoes, also. Oh! And, Tya has included a set of Prim Nails that responds to the shoe HUD, so your mani and your pedi will match.

You’ll find Pixel Mode at Shoe Fair on the Iridium Sim. The 2010 Shoe Fair runs through August 22.

ONE MORE DAY

That’s right. Just one more day until the HUGE :: Exodi :: & :. WoE .: Sim Launch and Skin Release party! And there is so much excitement planned, you won’t want to miss it.

Isolde is the latest skin release from :: Exodi :: and she is gorgeous! I’ll do a more complete feature very soon, but first I want to make sure you know all about the amazing events happening tomorrow starting at 5pm SLT!

I’m My Own Dance

New Hair + New Poses = Happy Gabby
LeLutka recently released some all new hairstyles and, like pretty much everything that comes from the LeLutka team, they are both gorgeous and well made. The new textures seem to have a lot of shine and there are dozens of color options available.

I went on a shopping spree at Dare and picked up some fantastic new poses and…hello, Bonus! Each of the four new “Single Ladies” sets includes a bodysuit by !Ohmai. I have no idea if I have the right bodysuit with the right pose or not, because I just sort of threw them all in a posestand and started playing. Sorry!

Aria Pompadour

Feels Like Home

A bit ago, Annah Whitfield of StoRin sent me her Around The World poses. Like a good blogger, I put together an adorable little outfit and took some photos on my home sim. Then, like a good procrastinator, I let them sit on my desktop, untouched, for far too long.

On Thursday, I visited Jordan Giant’s Nordari, specifically the min.poegin skybox. It just felt like home to me. So, I pulled out Annah’s bags and prepared to unpack. I do hope Jordan won’t mind if I move in.

Oh! And Annah recently plurked a teaser of her new pose pack…you’ll definitely want to keep on the lookout for it as it is full of summery fun!

I saw Grazia wearing these jeans a couple of weeks ago and finally got around to tracking them down. I remembered that she told me Hunain had turned her on to them, but I didn’t realize until I went looking that they only came in a male version. After making some adjustments, though, I really love the way they fit. Thanks, Graz…and Hunain, for the tip!
